Shipping Instructions - "Pallet(s)"

US Customs & Border protection has eliminated the use of "pallet" as a packaging type for shipping instructions - instead requiring such items to be listed as "skids." Given this information, CaroTrans will not, for compliance2P7A1027-1.jpg purposes, display "pallets" on our bill of lading and may substitute it for "skids" when necessary. There are several audit points in place to update as required and prevent any unnecessary delays in sailing.
