Hazardous Materials Policy - Update
Issue Date: June 10, 2022Effective immediately, CaroTrans’ CFS partners will not accept hazardous materials deliveries without the below requirements being met. Strict enforcement is now in place and deliveries will be refused if proper documentation is not on hand/on file.
- Hard Copy of IMO and SDS shall be attached to the freight itself
- Hard Copy of IMO and SDS shall be on hand with the trucker/delivery driver
- Electronic copy of IMO and SDS shall be filed with Carotrans prior to delivery
